A typeface begins as rhythm: narrow forms gather speed, broad forms create pause, and careful spacing turns separate signs into a fluent voice. Serifs guide the eye across a line, while round bowls and open apertures give each word its color. From the smallest caption to the loudest title, letters balance clarity with character. They carry memory, mood, and meaning through books, screens, streets, and rooms. An alphabet is a system, yet each glyph keeps its own gesture, proportion, tension, and grace. This grotesk typeface has been developed as a functional and adaptable visual system for wayfinding, transport and public-information environments. Its construction is based on clear proportions, open counters and carefully controlled stroke relationships, allowing the letterforms to remain legible across a wide range of scales, viewing distances and applications.

While the overall character is neutral and systematic, subtle details prevent the design from appearing mechanical or anonymous. The terminals, joins and curved forms have been optically adjusted to create a consistent rhythm, while the spacing supports both short directional messages and longer passages of information.

The accompanying pictogram family extends the same visual language through shared proportions, stroke weight, geometry and formal details. Across the following pages, the typeface and symbols are presented through selected characters, words, directional messages, pictograms, spacing studies and practical wayfinding applications.

The aircraft pictogram and arrow are balanced against the weight and scale of the typography, allowing all three elements to remain clearly identifiable without competing for attention. Their shared visual weight creates a consistent hierarchy while allowing each element to retain its individual function.

The aim is to show how the individual parts relate to one another before they are applied within a specific wayfinding situation.
